Kanab Archaeology Symposium held at Kanab Middle School

To accommodate a larger audience than expected the location of the Kanab Archaeology Community Symposium has been moved to the Kanab Middle School at 690 South Cowboy Way still on August 10, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.

The free community symposium will highlight two significant local archeology research  projects on the “Jackson Flat Reservoir Project” by Heidi Roberts, principal of HRA Conservation and Archaeology and the “Kanab Creek and Beyond” by Barbra w. Frank, co director of SUU Field School.

The presentations are part of a pre-conference activity for the Pecos Archeology Conference, a large gathering of archeologists being held on the Kaibab Plateau from August 11th to August 14th.  For more information contact CEBA at 435-899-0443
